Nefarian & Onyxia

Maligned has taken down Nefarian to complete the normal modes for this tier and become the first guild to clear all bosses on twenty five man, not too shabby for a guild only raiding four nights a week although we were all done shortly into our third raid this evening.

So what does that mean? We wasted two days! We will now be shifting our focus to spending some time on the heroic encounters and will be lookin at making some good progress there, but now a little more about the dragon.

The typical Elec shot - so concerned about making sure everyone was facing the right way when suddenly I am pretty sure Nefarian moved. Fortunately, he hadn't.

Nefarian is - strangely for this expansion - a three phase fight with the first phase a dual dragon encounter, the second a test of interupts and not standing in lava (not all too disimilar from fire to be honest) and finally a test for a tank of controlling big angry mobs while the raid attempts to squeeze out every last drop of dps.

Recruitment is still closed, I can't get anyone to leave, but if you want to make yourself useful feel free to roll an alliance character and join the other idiots trying to PVP in Tol'Barad, it will make our work there much easier.
