The Lich King dead, Icecrown Citadel normal cleared

After many hours of trying and making a little progress every session we finally took down the Lich King on our first attempt this evening for one more server first (closely followed by Nature’s Wrath who also took him down this evening!), next week we (both) will unlock the heroic version where the fun will really begin.

The fight is basically a stand still and nuke effort. Ok, nearly. Four phases each very different with entertaining minute long transitions between the first three. The number of times we got to phase three only to slip up and have to repeat the first two again was a little frustrating, but yes it was totally worth the wait and perseverance to see the fourth!
